Sydney Brausen

Sydney lives in Isanti MN with her husband and two energetic kids, two playful dogs and a flock of chickens. She grew up in LaCrosse Wisconsin, but since moving to Minnesota to complete her undergraduate degree in Psychology at St. Kate’s, she never left. She continued her education to receive her graduate degree in Occupational Therapy at St. Kate’s and graduated in 2021. Sydney has experience working in both the mental health field as well as pediatrics. At work Sydney enjoys strengthening emotional regulation skills, using a variety of sensory motor tools, exploring foods in creative ways, and developing obstacle courses and games to target fine and gross motor development. Her favorite part about being an occupational therapist is being able to use play to strengthen and develop skills that impact everyday life and independence. When Sydney is not at work she is enjoying time outdoors, gardening, dreaming of expanding her hobby farm, or laughing and making memories with her family.
